What your first appointment feels like at Gainesville Dentistry Co.

We set aside two hours for your comprehensive new patient visit so we can listen, learn, and look closely at your oral health. You will have time to discuss concerns with Dr. Feldman, understand your options, and decide together on next steps in a judgment-free, pressure-free setting. If needed, we can also begin hygiene care that same visit.

Your first visit with us is unhurried and thorough. We reserve a full two hours for every comprehensive new patient appointment at our Gainesville practice, allowing ample time for diagnostics, oral health education, and questions. During that time, our hygienists complete a periodontal evaluation, Dr. Feldman performs a comprehensive dental exam, and we take digital x-rays for a clear picture of the teeth and gums. Reserving this much time also lets us begin any needed hygiene treatment that same day, should you choose to proceed. 

Everything happens at a relaxed, no-pressure pace. We are a judgment-free practice, so no one ever feels pushed toward treatment. After the exam, you’ll talk through your concerns with Dr. Feldman and decide together on the next steps, whether that means returning for a routine cleaning or addressing other needs across additional appointments. Our goal is simple: help you leave feeling informed, comfortable, and confident about your oral health.

Meet Dr. Greg Feldman, DMD

Dr. Greg Feldman earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Florida, making him a proud Double Gator. With over 1,800 hours of continuing education, he holds credentials achieved by only a small percentage of dentists nationwide, including his Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD and MAGD) and his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

His passion for dentistry started in the dental chair. Born with a congenitally missing adult tooth, he experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of quality dental care. That personal connection drives his commitment to making every patient feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their treatment.

First impressions are very important. When I entered the Gainesville Dentistry Co. office, I was immediately impressed by its cleanliness and a very pleasant fresh scent. The receptionist and Dr. Feldman’s assistant Narlyn were very welcoming and friendly. I was very impressed by the comfortable modern chair and the state-of-the-art equipment. The Xray charts were clearly positioned in front of you while the doctor explained and pointed out the results and necessary treatment. When I met Dr. Feldman, I recognized him as the dentist whose patient I was, briefly, years ago in Ocala before he left my area. I was looking for him for a long time before I found him in Gainesville. I came to Dr. Feldman for a second opinion. He was extremely generous with his time and explained very thoroughly what was accurate and what not so much about the previous dentist’s plan. I felt that Dr. Feldman is very knowledgeable and honest, and I decided to continue on with him. It is well worth my long drive to Gainesville knowing that I am getting the most skilled and professional treatment possible.

I did the $125 new patient special along with a teeth cleaning. I was so impressed. The vibe of the office is so cozy chic. The front desk staff especially Candice is so helpful over the phone and in person. Heather did all of my X-rays and cleaning and she was wonderful! I liked that they didn’t constantly try to push costly additions. They were very honest and straightforward, no gimmicks. Will definitely be back.
